For two decades, the Symposium on Advanced Wound Care (SAWC) has provided a venue at which the interdisciplinary wound care community can gather, greet, learn, and play. In the process, the SAWC has become the biggest and best wound care conference in the country, celebrating its 24th year.

Our motto — One Vision, Many Faces, One Family — continues to guide us. We are pleased the success of the first and second annual SAWC Fall has continued this great tradition as we embark on our third annual SAWC Fall. Connected by our involvement with our patients, our healthcare settings, the government agencies that regulate our care, and various overarching organizations, we work toward a common goal: to decrease the number and severity of chronic wounds.

The SAWC Fall 2011 will offer up to 40 new clinical sessions and host a major exhibition of products and services for wound care professionals. The SAWC is committed to providing the highest level of clinical education and information to physicians, podiatrists, nurses, physical therapists and allied health professionals dedicated to the advancement of wound care and healing. We have been doing so for more than 20 years.
