Exhibitor Information
As the producers of the Symposium on Advanced Wound Care (SAWC) and
Wound Healing Society (WHS) meeting scheduled each spring, we at the North
American Center for Continuing Medical Education (NACCME) are excited to present
the 2nd annual SAWC Fall.
The first SAWC Fall was held in Washington, DC, in 2009 and was extremely successful.
Over the course of three days, the conference had approximately 700 attendees
from the wound care arena. It also featured over 50 speakers and over 80
exhibitors and sponsors.
Scheduled for Sept. 23-25, 2010, at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA.,
the upcoming SAWC Fall will offer up to 40 clinical sessions and host a major exhibition
of products and services for wound care professionals. For more than 20 years,
the SAWC has been committed to providing the highest level of clinical education
and information to a large audience of physicians, podiatrists, nurses, and allied
health professionals dedicated to the advancement of wound care and healing.
Despite the annual success of the SAWC, our surveys show that it is unusual for
multiple people to attend a meeting presented by the same organization in the same
year. SAWC attendees have indicated that having two doctors away at the same
conference is not always practical, hence the addition of another meeting. We want
to help accommodate everyone and ensure that all people in the wound care industry
learn about the most up-to-date information in the field. In addition, while the
SAWC attracts attendance from throughout the United States and from more than
a dozen countries, the majority of attendance comes from a 300- to 500-mile radius
of the event. Therefore, many in the profession do not have an opportunity to attend
the SAWC each spring if the location is too far. NACCME has always been very
strategic when selecting venues and locations for the SAWC Spring and Fall for
optimal, non-duplicative attendance. NACCME is committed to wound care’s
growth, and this is the next evolution in our continued commitment to that goal. We
sincerely hope you will join us in Anaheim for what will surely be a rewarding business
experience. SAWC — the “must do” event for the wound care market, now with
both a spring and fall meeting!
